Japanese Amigurumi Book

Meet my latest purchase from Kinokuniya *love that bookstore*!

There were many choices of amigurumi books to choose from, and this one stole my heart.
The amigurumis are so cute!

The problem is that I do not know how to read patterns in chart form.
And while the book has step-to-step instructions (which looks so detailed!),
they are all written in Japanese only :(.

So, it was the Internet to the rescue!
This is an excellent help to learn to read crochet chart patterns and to recognise words related to body parts.

At the moment, I do not have much time to sew or crochet, but it sure is fun to buy books and supplies for use in Auckland!

Christmas! Christmas! (is coming soon)

Hi everyone! I'm back again!

I arrived home last night and like the rest of my family, I am now sick :(. Shanghai was freezing cold, and we were not prepared to walk around with the temperature hovering around 0 degrees. Despite that, the scenery was beautiful, and I also enjoyed visiting Nanjing, Wuxi and Hangzhou. Photos to come :D.

Now, I'm waiting for Christmas to arrive, and I'm sure you are too!

I'm sorry for being away for such long periods in the past few weeks. My posts have been scarce and short. Unfortunately, I'll be away again as I will be leaving for Shanghai tonight!

It is an unexpected family holiday and I'll be back in 8 days time.
